Certainly for long platforms, don’t stretch the foldable point out
fully in 1 single movement until it lines up completely with the
platform main section.

Alternate between the functions POWER OPEN or OPEN for
the platform main section and UP for the foldable point to
deploy the platform at minimal height above the ground.
Make sure the outboard platform edge and the mechanical
support legs are in firm contact with the ground. Use solid
support blocks if working on soft terrain (sand, gravel, etc.) and
adjust the length of the support legs if necessary.
If the outboard platform edge remains floating in the air after the
support legs have touched the ground, adjust the length of the
support legs, or operate DOWN to lower the foldable point to the
ground. DO NOT load the platform if not fully rested on the
ground.
Make sure you comply with load charts and instructions at all
times
Load and unload in accordance to the instructions and guidelines
in this manual.
