I. Identification of the Vehicle
1. Vehicle Identification Number
The vehicle identification number (VIN) is located at the bottom of the windscreen on the left-
hand side, on the centre of the bulkhead inside the cab and on the chassis side rail beneath
the driver’s seat.
2. The Engine Number
The serial number of the engine will be found stamped on the top of the engine.
Both numbers should always be quoted with any vehicle enquiries, as the Factory records
are always filed against the VIN and engine number, which aids traceability.
