Note:
With the cache module installed in the cache module slot, the compo-
nents on the solder side of the add-in card in PCI Slot 3 and the com-
ponents on the component side of the add-in card in PCI Slot 2 must
not protrude more than 5mm.
CPU Installation
The C586VX allows for easy installation of CPUs. Make sure all jumpers are
set correctly before applying power or you may damage the CPU or system
board. Please see the jumper settings on the following pages. Use the
needle-nosed pliers to move the jumpers if necessary. The table below
shows the External Bus Clock of the CPUs supported by the system board
and their corresponding PCI Clock and Bus Clock.
