Award BIOS Setup Utility

Wake-Up By PCI Card

Enabled

This field should be set to Enabled only if your PCI
card such as LAN card or modem card uses the PCI
PME (Power Management Event) signal to remotely
wake up the system.

Access to the LAN card or PCI

card will cause the system to wake up.

Refer to the

card’s documentation for more information.

Disabled

The system will not wake up despite access to the
PCI card.

Power On By Ring

Set this field to Enabled to use the modem ring-on function. This
will allow your system to power-on to respond to calls coming
from an external modem.

The settings on the screen are for reference only. Your version may not be identical
to this one.
