CAUTION:
Hold the side handle and body of the tool
firmly to maintain control of the tool at start up and
during use and until the wheel or accessory stops rotating.
Make sure the wheel has come to a complete stop be fore
laying the tool down.
Attaching Sanding Discs (Fig. B)
Your DWE7800 drywall sander is designed to use 225 mm
sanding discs

. Sanding discs for the DWE7800 attach with
hook and loop.
The recommended sanding discs are available at extra cost from
your local dealer or authorised

To Attach Sanding Disc to the Sanding Pad
(Fig. B)
1. Turn the sander over so that the sanding pad

facing upward.
2. Clean the dust from the sanding pad face.
3. Hold the pad with one hand to keep it from rotating.
4. With the other hand, center and place the sanding disc

directly on top of the pad. If using paper sanding discs,
ensure any ventilation holes in sanding disc align with
ventilation holes in sanding pad.

source before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories.

Intended Use
This drywall sander is designed for professional sanding
applications like drywall constructions of ceilings and walls as
well as for removing paint, coverings, wallpaper residue and
loose plaster.
Do not use under wet conditions or in the presence of
flammable liquids or gases.
This drywall sander is a professional power tool.
Do not let children come into contact with the tool. Supervision
is required when inexperienced operators use this tool.

Electrical Safety
The electric motor has been designed for one voltage only.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage
on the rating plate.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced only by

Mains Plug Replacement
(U.K. & Ireland Only)
If a new mains plug needs to be fitted:
• Safely dispose of the old plug.
• Connect the brown lead to the live terminal in the plug.
• Connect the blue lead to the neutral terminal.
• Connect the green/yelow lead to the earth terminal.
WARNING:
We recommend the use of a residual current
device with a residual current rating of 30mA or less.
Follow the fitting instructions supplied with good quality plugs.
Recommended fuse: 13 A.
Using an Extension Cable
If an extension cable is required, use an approved 3–core
extension cable suitable for the power input of this tool (see
Technical Data
).The minimum conductor size is 1.5 mm
2
; the
maximum length is 30 m.
When using a cable reel, always unwind the cable completely.
