Using The Bath Board

Ensure you read the Safety section before
using the bath board.

The bath boards are available in 26”, 27” and
28” widths and either 4-slat or 6-slat versions.

They are designed for a user to sit on in the
bath, enabling them to bathe, wash or shower
in comfort. They have a weight limit of 190kg
(30 stone).

Consult your healthcare professional for
advice about using the product safely and
transferring to and from the bath.

Cleaning the Bath Board

Before being cleaned, the bath board should
be removed from the bath and the brackets
removed.

All parts of the bath board should be cleaned
periodically using normal household
detergents.

When disinfecting is required, a mild
disinfectant that will not cause damage to
plastics should only be used.

Strong acid, alkaline or cleaning products may
cause damage or discolouration to the
product.

After cleaning or disinfecting, the parts should
be showered down or wiped with a damp
cloth before the bath board is reinstalled.

Autoclave cleaning is not recommended as it
can cause damage to the specialist plastics
used in the bath board’s construction.
