The UNIGATE

®

keeps sending back to IPx till IPy sends a UDP packet to the UNIGATE 2x

consecutively.

Note: This mechanism was built in the UNIGATE

®

for security reasons.

15.3.2.3 UDP - Configuration: (EL) IP Address Target > 0

If this parameter is set with a valid IP address, the UNIGATE

®

sends the process data indepen-

dently. The process data is sent there until a remote participant with another IP address sends a
packet to the UNIGATE

®

, then the UNIGATE

®

behaves as described above, as if target IP



was set to 0.



The configured Target IP is valid again after a reboot.


