Operation in
Telecommunications
Systems / Keypad
Signalling
If you operate the TA 33clip on
the internal S0 access of a
telecommunications system,
you can change the operating
mode. The telephones on the
TA 33clip then behave like the
other telephones in the
telecommunications system.
Please refer to the operating
instructions for your telecom-
munications system to find out
which code digits you can use
to make calls to other tele-
phones and for information on
how to make external calls.
With this setting, it is then not
possible to make internal calls
and use other features of the TA
33clip.
When the TA 33clip is operated
on an ISDN basic access, you
can specify whether or not key-
pad signalling is activated.
Keypad signalling is used to
control special functions on the
ISDN network (e.g. you can
block certain lines and numbers
yourself). If this operating mode
is set, it is possible to switch
over to keypad signalling when-
ever you press the star key or
the hash key after lifting the
handset, as all keypad proce-
dures start with one of these
keys.
Contact your network operator
for information as to whether or
not keypad signalling is sup-
ported and on the range of
services available.
