Making a Call
You receive calls with the EuroMaster Systel by lifting the handset. You can also reject
or divert calls as described under point Reject Call on page 20 and under point Divert
Call on page 21.
As the internal S0-bus of the varix business not only offers one service channel, a fur-
ther call can be taken on while having an established connection. In this case the call
is waiting. This situation is described in detail on page 22 under the point "Accept-
ing/Rejecting a waiting call".
In case you receive a call the calling No. Is indicated in the display
*
. In case that the
calling No. is inserted in the telephone book of your EuroMaster Systel you will see the
name of the caller in the second from top display row..
If you answer the call, your telephone number is transmitted to the caller. The caller can
then see who he has reached
**
. Before you lift the handset off the hook, you can pre-
vent transmission of your number using the "Restrict" softkey (Suppression of MSN
Transmission).
Please note that the softkeys only work when the softkey assignments are displayed;
when the second line of the display contains the name of the caller, the softkeys are
thus not available.
*
You receive the number of the incoming caller only when he/she uses a digital network and does not
suppress the transmission of his/her number.
