JD CONTROL
1. Description
JD Control is used to control the spotlights in your Desjoyaux swimming pool. It consists of a 2-button, battery-operated transmitter
(remote control unit) and a 1-channel receiver, supplied with 230V. JD Control is compatible with all Desjoyaux halogen and LED
spotlights. The product is already configured and ready-to-use.
2. Installation
To optimise signal reception, mount the receiver so that there are as few obstacles as possible between the transmitter and receiver
(walls, hedges, etc.). As the receiver benefits from an IP55 protection rating, it can be mounted outdoors and exposed to inclement
weather. The receiver must be installed more than 3.5 m from any edge of the pool. The installation must comply with the installation
standards applicable in the country of installation (NF C 15100 in France).
The remote control is not watertight. It must be stored in a safe place.
3. Operation
The JD Control replaces the manual switch on the filtration control panel. For optimal use of the JD
Control, set the manual switch on the filtration control panel in the ‘OFF’ position.
All the operations
listed below are valid with the manual spotlight switch on the filtration control panel in the OFF
position.
The transmitter features two buttons

On/Off button:
pressing this button turns the spotlights On or Off.
In the case of LED lights, the colour is changed in the same way as with the manual switch on the
filtration control panel: spotlights ON, press the On/Off button twice consecutively (< 5 seconds) to turn
the power off then on again. If power is switched off for more than 10 seconds, the colour does not
change. For further information, please refer to the LED spotlight manual.

Timer button:

Spotlights OFF
Pressing the
button once turns on the spotlights and begins a 3-hour timer. If the On/Off on
the transmitter is not pressed in the meantime, the spotlights will turn off after 3 hours of operation. If the On/Off
button is pressed during this time, the spotlights are switched off and the timer is cancelled.

Spotlights ON
Pressing and holding the
button turns the spotlights off. The timer is not started.
A short press (1 press) of the
button keeps the spotlights illuminated and triggers the
3-hour timer after which the spotlights are switched off.
4. Key locking and signal identification
In key locking mode, presses on keys are ignored. No control is transmitted.
To lock/unlock the buttons, simultaneously press the two buttons
located on each side of the transmitter.

5. Replacement of batteries
Pull up the cover of the battery compartment by unscrewing screws located at the back of the transmitter. Remove the 2 batteries and
insert the new ones making sure that matching of poles (+/-) is correct. Both batteries must be changed. Place battery cover back on.
6. Warranty
JD Control benefits from a 12-month warranty (parts) from the invoice date of sale, except in cases of improper installation or use.
Caution: JD Control is intended exclusively for controlling swimming pool spotlights. Desjoyaux Piscines cannot be held liable in the
event this product is used for any purpose other than its intended use. In such cases, the warranty will be void.
7. Recycling
When the unit reaches the end of its operating life, do not throw it in the waste bin. his symbol means that the object will be
collected for reuse, recycling or recovery. Contact your dealer for further information.
