Menu Navigation
Navigation through the menu structure of the Diamond Shield IE is simple and
identical for all functional areas:
The currently selected item is marked with a small black
rectangle at the left edge. A scroll bar on the right edge dis-
play appears, when the current list has more entries than
can be displayed. The scroll bar indicates, where you are
in the list.
Use the
up-arrow-key + and the down-arrow-key - to
navigate to the desired item.
For switching quickly between the first and the last entry
you can jump from the last to the first item with the
down-
arrow-key , and accordingly from the first to the last item
with the up-arrow-key .
Confirm your selection with the OK button. Then a subme-
nu appears, that corresponds to the selected item.
Press the
EXIT key to return one level up (if you are not
already in the main menu).
Important Terms
The structure of the application programs from the standard menu or from chip-
cards is composed of two levels of elements:
• Frequency program:
A frequency program is a defined single frequency
application with all its parameters such as wave form, wobble, intensity,
modulation and duration.
• Sequence: A sequence is a succession of several single frequency
programs. For example, there is a sequence with the name Diamond
Shield
, which includes the frequency programs
