ATTENTION!
Make sure not to inadvertently press the
pushbutton when pulling back the patient's cheek with the
Contra-Angle handpiece while the motor is running. Doing
so will risk burning the oral mucosa!
•
If the contra-angle handpiece is defective, the area around
the instrument head may heat up, thus creating a risk of burn-
ing the patient's oral mucosa.
•
Do not repair the Contra-Angle handpiece yourself. Contact
the Technical Service Department at 1-800-662-1202 for
any repairs.
•
Attach or remove instruments from the Contra-Angle only
when the motor is off.
•
Do not use bent, damaged or deformed endodontic instru-
ments. Worn instruments can result in injury.
•
Use only instruments whose shanks comply with the re-
quirements of
DIN EN ISO 1797-1
.
•
Do not immerse the Contra-Angle handpieces in cold water
to speed up the cooling process. This would permanently
damage your Contra-Angle handpiece!
•
Do not leave any Contra-Angle handpieces on the motor
overnight, in order to prevent oil from penetrating into the
electric motor. Never lubricate the electric motor!
