Setting the communications environments
Tapping button on the Ymodem menu calls up the communications environments setting screen.
Communications parameters for the direct-connect interface
To communicate with the host computer via the direct-connect
interface port, select "Serial (COM1:)" in Port.
The screen shown at left appears where you make the same settings
as those in the host computer for Baud Rate, Parity, and Stop Bits.
The data bit is fixed to 8.
Communications parameters for the IrDA interface
To communicate with the host computer via the IrDA interface port,
select "IrDA (COM4:)" in Port.
The screen shown at left appears where you make the same setting
as that in the host computer for Baud Rate.
Other settings are fixed as follows:
- Data bits:
8
- Parity:
None
- Stop bits:
1
After the BHT is initialized, the interface port and communications environments are set as listed in the
default table below.
