USING THE TIMER

• Timer recording/playback can be made using any audio timer

available on the market.

Playing a compact disc with the timer

1. Make sure the connections are correct, especially the

power supply connections.

2. Turn “ON” the POWER switch of each appliance.

3. Load the disc to be played back.

4. Set the monitor switch of the Amplifier to the CD position.

5. Press the PLAY (

) button and playback the CD; adjust the

playback level.

Press the STOP (

) button.

6. Set the TIMER switch to the “CD” side.

7. Set the audio timer to the desired time. The audio timer will

turn the power supply on the desired time.

5. Set the audio timer to the desired time. The audio timer will

turn the power supply on at the desired time.

* With the above procedures, timer playback can be

accomplished. When the preset time comes, the power is

supplied and playback will start.

Timer playback is performed as described below,

depending on the CD play mode set before timer playback

starts.

Direct mode:

Playback starts from the first track on the

disc that was played last.

Program mode:

Playback starts from the first track in the

program.

Random mode:

Playback starts in the random mode.

Play the tuner with the timer

1. Make sure the connections are correct, especially the

power supply connections.

2. Turn “ON” the POWER switch of each appliance.

3. Use the PRESET buttons to set the preset channel number.

4. Set the TIMER switch to the “TUNER” side.
