Remove the Torx locking screw and separate
the dome assembly from its black plastic
shell by rotating the hemisphere
anti-clockwise and remove the safety bond.
Remove the plug connector from the socket
on the top of the shell. Draw the necessary
cables through the hole in the ceiling and
connect the 24V ac power, coax and optional
RS485 cables as shown in table below.
Reconnect the plug ensuring the correct
position (
see Fig. 3 & 4
).
Offer up the shell pushing the fixings through
the three screw holes. Tighten the screws,
clamping down on the ceiling tile to secure
the shell in the ceiling cavity.
The shell is now ready to accept the 2040
dome camera module.
