Touching the Glass Hood when in use

If the

Waxburner

is working correctly, the glass will become

warm, but not hot. The glass might become hot if the

flame is too big. For safety reasons, only touch the glass

with a heatproof glove when in use. Sooty glass is a sign that

the flame is too high and / or that the wax is poor-quality.

You will then need to re-adjust the wick of the

Waxburner

and / or change the wax. Please follow the procedure in the

instructions for using the

Indoor Waxburner

.

Extinguishing the flame

Place the lid supplied onto the opening of the base ring

to extinguish the flame. You can do this without removing

the

Glass Hood

.

Refilling & recycling leftover candles

The wax needs to be topped up regularly so that

the

Waxburner

doesn’t run out. To do so, extinguish the

Waxburner

and remove the Glass Hood and the ring

base. The

Waxburner

uses more wax in strong winds so

normal burning time might be shorter.
