Maximum absorption efficiency for Filter media like Deltec AC
Phosphatadsorber , AC Special Carbon and others is archieved by using Deltec
a FR filter. Deltec “FR“ Series filter can also be used as a very effective bio
filter.
Installation

FR filters can be installed inside (if space allows) the sump or remote from
aquarium and filter sump.

Connect the FR filter to a pump or bypass of the aquariums filtration
system.

Remove the lid by turning it anticlockwise.

Rinse the media thoroughly if not it may cloud the water temporally.

Fill in the media; cover the central dawn pipe during the process.

DO NOT OVERFILL

Make sure that the sponges are in the correct position and that the Lid O-
Ring is clean and in position.

Replace the lid and turn clockwise.

Close the tap an the FR filter and switch on the water supply.

Open the tap slowly to achieve a steady circulation inside the FR filter.
CHECK FOR ANY LEAKS
General
The FR filters should ran continuously. When using it in combination with a
“Kalkwasser” stirrer, ensure that the “Kalkwasser” is not fed directly into the
FR filter.
With aquaria containing initially high levels of Phosphate, Rowaphos may have
to be renewed after a short period of time i.e. If the phosphate level coming
out of the FR filter is the same as in the aquarium.
Maintenance
The FR filter should be cleaned thoroughly and if necessary sponges replaced
every time the media is renewed.
