A. SHOWERHEAD INSTALLATION
1. Apply plumber tape to pipe threads on both ends of the shower arm (2).
2. Insert wall end of shower arm (2) through the shower flange (3).
3. Thread the shower arm (2) into the riser connection (1).
4. Thread showerhead (4) onto the other end of shower arm (2).

DO NOT
overtighten showerhead.
B. TUB SPOUT - IRON PIPE INSTALLATION
5. Install pipe nipple so that end projects out from finished wall surface 13 to 32 mm (0.5 to 1.25”).
6. Apply plumber tape or thread sealing compound to pipe threads.
7. Hand tighten adapter (1) onto pipe (2) threads. Finish tightening with standard pipe wrench until a positive seal is achieved.
Take care not to damage the o-ring (3).
8. Back of adapter (1) must not project more than 25mm (1”) from finished wall surface.
9. Thread tub spout (4) onto adapter (1), taking care not to damage o-ring (3), and hand tighten until tub spout (4) is firmly against finished wall and all
slack is taken up behind wall.
C. TUB SPOUT - COPPER SWEAT INSTALLATION
1. Install adapter so the end of the adapter is 6 to 25 mm (0.25 to 1”) from finished wall.
2. Remove o-ring (3) from adapter (2).
3. Solder adapter (2) to tube taking care to keep solder away from o-ring groove.

solder permitted on outside diameter of adapter adjacent to o-ring groove.
4. Cut off tube (2) and replace o-ring (3) on groove of brass adapter.
5. Thread tub spout (4) onto adapter (1), taking care not to damage o-ring (3), and hand tighten until tub spout (4) is firmly against finished wall and all
slack is taken up behind wall.
