Select CONFIGURE (one click) on the “Connect to” folder, and the “Port settings” folder
will appear.

On the “Port settings” folder choose:
BITS PER SECOND: 38400, (See note below)
DATA BITS: 8,
PARITY: None,
STOP BITS: 1,
FLOW CONTROL: Xon / Xoff,
OK to confirm the port settings (one click).
Warning: in order for the communication between DO2003 and your PC to work properly, the “Bit
per second” datum (transmission speed) on HyperTerminal, must be set at the same value as
the instrument Baud rate ; to transfer data at the maximum speed, we recommend to use the
highest baud rate value (38400 baud). When the connecting cable between the instrument and the
laptop (PC) is a few meters long, problems regarding data transfer may occur; in this case only, we
advise to reduce the baud rate value.
