When using the oven the function selector control knob and thermostat control knob
have to be used in conjunction with one another; first select the function that you
require (see table below) and using the thermostat control knob set the cooking
temperature. The temperature indicator light (2) will go off when the oven has reached
the desired temperature and lights again whenever the thermostat steps in to maintain
the required temperature.

The function selector control
