-   Do not rest anything on the appliance.
-   Do not obstruct the air intake and outlet grilles (danger 

of overheating).

-   Do not use the appliance near walls, furniture, curtains, 

etc.

-    When you first use the device it may release an odour 

due to heating up. It is advisable to ventilate the room.

Safety features

   Safety device: 

the appliance is fitted with a safety cut-

off device which switches it off in the event of accidental 
overheating (e.g. obstruction of air intake and outlet 
grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all). 

 

To reset the cutoff, disconnect the appliance from the 
power socket for a few minutes, remove the cause of 
overheating then reconnect to the power supply.

 

If the problem persists or the appliance does not return 
to normal operation, do not use it and contact an au-
thorised service centre to resolve the problem.

Disposing of the appliance

The appliance must not be disposed of with house-
hold waste but must be taken to an authorised waste 
separation and recycling centre.

   Before plugging into the power socket, make sure that 

the voltage of your power system corresponds to the 
value in Volts indicated on the appliance and that the 
power socket and power line are suitable for the electri-
cal load.

Installation

The device should only be used in an upright position.

Models with towel rail

Some models are equipped with a towel rail (E) that provides 

a drying function and can be used only with the appliance 
fixed to the wall.
If the unit is used in a bathroom, to avoid hazards, it must be 
installed as shown in fig. 4. If installed in another room the 
minimum distances shown must be respected.
The wall-mount kit includes:
1 bracket
2 x screws
2 x wall plugs (0.6x30)
Install as follows:
1.  Remove the bracket mounted on the back, pulling it 

downwards.

2.  Choose the point to install the appliance ensuring that:
a.   The plug and the socket are easily accessible after instal-

lation.

b.   Neither the electrical cables nor other pipework can be 

damaged.

c.   Curtains or other flammable material are kept away 

from the appliance. 

3.  Before drilling the wall, mark the exact points as shown 

in fig.1.

4.  For brick walls, use a 6 mm masonry bit. Drill and insert 

the wall plugs provided. (For plasterboard or false walls 
we suggest that you locate the wooden battens behind 
and use wood screws size 6 directly into the wood or 
special anchors. 

 

For any other type of wall ask the advice of a specialist.

5.   Secure the bracket with the two screws provided.
 

Next, insert the appliance into the top and bottom 
hooks of the bracket, and then lightly press the unit 
down.

Slowly lift the rail (E) to the first stop. To avoid overheating 
problems in this mode, the heat setting should not exceed 
1000W. 
At this point you can hang towels or sheets on the rail for dry-
ing. When the appliance is not used in drying mode lift the 
arm upwards up to the top which unlocks it and then bring 
it down. 

 Attention! 

 Do not overload the towel rail (E) and pay 

special attention to drying of delicate fabrics. 

Models with pedestal

Models equipped with pedestal (F) can be used in a portable 
version with the pedestal or wall-mounted, excluding the 
need for the pedestal in the second case.
To remove the pedestal (F) press the two tabs on the back of 
the base while pushing the heater forwards then raise the ap-
