Selecting the quantity of coffee in
the cup
The appliance is set by default to make a standard
quantity of coffee. To choose the quantity of cof-
fee, press the selection icon (C10) until the "quan-
tity" bar has filled as follows:
The quantity bar fills up progressively each time
you press the selection icon (C10).
Programming the "my coffee" quantity
The appliance is set by default to automatically
deliver 30 ml of "my coffee".
To modify these settings, proceed as follows:
1. Place a cup under the coffee spouts ( fig. 10).
2. Press the selection icon (C10) repeatedly until
“My coffee” and the empty bar are displayed.
3. Press the 1 cup icon (fig. 12) until "MY
COFFEE PROGRAM QUANTITY" and the
symbol are displayed. The machine starts
delivering the coffee and the icon flashes.
4. As soon as the coffee in the cup reaches the
required level, press the icon again.
The quantity set has now been programmed.
Adjusting the coffee mill
The coffee mill is set by default to prepare coffee
correctly and should not require adjusting initially.
However, if after making the first few coffees you
find that delivery is either too fast or too slow (a
drop at a time), this can be corrected by adjusting
the grinding adjustment knob (fig. 8).
These adjustments will only be evident after at
least 2 cups of coffee have been made.
NB! The grinding adjustment knob must
only be turned when the coffee mill is in opera-
tion.
For slower coffee deli-
very and a creamier cof-
fee, turn one click
towards "1" (finer
ground coffee).
For faster delivery (not a
drop at a time), turn one
click towards the "7"
(coarser ground coffee).
These adjustments will only be evident after
making at least 2 cups of coffee. If delivery is still
too fast or too slow, repeat the correction proce-
dure.
Manual rinsing
For hotter coffee, before making the coffee rinse
the appliance by pressing the button. Hot
water flows out of the spout, heating the internal
circuit and making the coffee delivered hotter.
Danger of burns! During rinsing, a little hot
water comes out of the coffee spouts and is col-
lected in the drip tray underneath.
Making coffee using coffee beans
Important! Do not use caramelised or can-
died coffee beans as they could stick to the coffee
mill and make it unusable.
1. Fill the container (A3) with coffee beans (fig.
9).
2. Place under the coffee spouts:
- 1 cup, if you want 1 coffee (fig. 10);
- 2 cups, if you want 2 coffees.
3. Lower the spouts as near as possible to the
cup. This makes a creamier coffee (fig. 11).
4. Press the icon corresponding to the number
of coffees required (1 cup or 2 cups )
(fig. 12 and 13). The selected quantity and
taste are displayed.
5. Preparation begins. One or two cups appear
on the display and gradually fill as preparation
progresses.
Once the coffee has been made, the appliance pre-
pares for use again.
