Moving it towards CAPPUCCINO obtains a
less dense froth. 

2. Press the CAPPUCCINO icon (fig. 23). A cup

is displayed and gradually fills as preparation
progresses. (After a few seconds, frothed milk
flows out of the milk spout into the cup below.
The milk stops automatically and delivery of
coffee begins).

3. At the end of delivery, the machine is automa-

tically ready for use again. 

NB! If during delivery you want to stop pre-

paring milk, press the CAPPUCCINO icon or inter-
rupt preparation of the coffee by pressing the 

icon.

Making latte 

1. After attaching the milk container (see the

section: "Filling and attaching the milk contai-
ner"), position the frothed milk regulator (B1)
on LATTE (fig. 24) 

2. Press the LATTE icon (fig. 25). 

A glass is displayed and gradually fills as pre-
paration progresses.  (After a few seconds,
milk is delivered from the milk spout into the
cup below. The milk stops automatically and
delivery of coffee begins).

3. At the end of delivery, the machine is automa-

tically ready for use again. 

NB!  If during delivery you want to stop pre-

paring milk, press the LATTE icon or interrupt pre-
paration of the coffee by pressing the 

icon. 

Making flat white

1. After attaching the milk container (see the

section "Filling and attaching the milk contai-
ner"), position the frothed milk regulator (B1)
on FLAT WHITE (fig. 26) printed on the milk
container lid. 

2. Press the FLAT WHITE icon (fig. 27).

A glass is displayed and gradually fills as pre-
paration progresses. (After a few seconds,
frothed milk comes out of the milk spout into
the glass below. The milk stops automatically
and delivery of coffee begins).

3. At the end of delivery, the machine is automa-

tically ready for use again. 

NB! If during delivery you want to stop pre-

paring milk, press the FLAT WHITE icon or inter-
rupt preparation of the coffee by pressing      the
icon. 

Preparing hot milk

1. After attaching the milk container (see the

section: "Filling and attaching the milk contai-
ner"), position the frothed milk regulator on
CAFFELATTE (fig. 22).

2. Press the HOT MILK icon (fig. 28). A glass is

displayed and gradually fills as preparation
progresses. 

3. At the end of delivery, the machine is automa-

tically ready for use again. 

NB! If during delivery you want to stop pre-

paring milk, press the HOT MILK icon once. 

Cleaning the milk container after
use

Important! Danger of burns.  When clea-

ning the internal tubes of the milk container, a litt-
le hot water leaks out of the milk spout (B5).
Avoid contact with splashes of water. 

When "Press CLEAN button" flashes on the display
(each time you use a milk function):
1. Leave the milk container in the machine (you

do not need to empty it);

2. Place a cup or other recipient under the milk

spout (fig. 20).

3. Press the CLEAN button (fig. 29) and keep it

pressed until the progress bar displayed toge-
ther with the message "CLEANING..." is comple-
te. 

4. After cleaning, remove the milk container and

always clean the nozzle with a sponge (fig.
30). 

NB! 

When "Press CLEAN button" flashes on the
display, you can still prepare any type of cof-
fee or milk. If you have to make a number of
drinks with milk, wait until you have delivered
the last cup before cleaning the container. 

The milk left in the container can be kept in
the refrigerator. 

Programming the quantities of
coffee and milk in the cup

The machine leaves the factory set to delivery
standard quantities. To change these quantities,
proceed as follows:
1. Attach the milk container (see "Filling and

attaching the milk container"), place a cup
under the coffee spouts and milk spout (fig.
20).
