14.   Press the 

 button to confirm the selection. The appli-

ance begins hot water delivery and the message “Please 
wait” is displayed;

15.  Once delivery is completed, “TURN STEAM DIAL” is 

displayed;

16.   Turn the steam dial to the 

O

 position (fig. 4). The appliance 

returns automatically to the “Ready for coffee” state.

The new filter is active and indicated by an asterisk displayed 
under “Install filter” in the menu. You can now use the appliance.

15.2  Replacing the filter

When “REPLACE FILTER” is displayed, after two months (see date 
indicator) or when the appliance has not been used for 3 weeks, 
you should replace the filter:
1.   Extract the tank (A9) and exhausted filter (C4);
2.   Take the new filter out of its packet and proceed as illus-

trated in points 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in the previous section;

3.   Place a container (min. capacity: 500 ml) underneath the 

cappuccino maker (A19);

4.   Press the 

P

 button (B3) to enter the menu;

5.   Turn the selection (B5) dial until “REPLACE FILTER” is 

displayed;

6.   Press the  

 button (B9);

7.  The message “Confirm?” is now displayed;
8. Press 

the 

 button to confirm selection. “TURN STEAM 

DIAL” appears on the display;

9.  Turn the hot water/steam dial (A20) to the 

I

 position. “Hot 

water Confirm?” appears on the display;

10. Press the 

 button to confirm the selection. The appli-

ance begins hot water delivery and the message “Please 
wait” is displayed;

11.  After delivery, “turn steam dial” is displayed. Turn the 

steam dial to the 

O

 position and the appliance returns au-

tomatically to the “Ready For Coffee” position.

The new filter is now active and you can use the coffee machine.

15.3  Removing the filter

If you want to use the appliance without the filter (C4), you must 
remove it and notify the appliance of its removal.
Proceed as follows:
1.   Extract the tank (A9) and exhausted filter;
2.   Press the 

P

 button (B3) to enter the menu;

3.   Turn the selection dial (B5 - fig. 8) until “Install filter” is 

displayed;

4.   Press the  

 button (B9);

5.   “Disable?” is displayed;
6.   Press the

 button to confirm and the  

 (B4) but-

ton exit the menu.
