efore starting up the appliance

Before connecting the appliance to the main outlet, check that the transparent
hose inside the tank is correctly fastened (see Fig.1).

lace the dehumidifier in a suitable position, a 

halfway or landing are generally good sites

The appliance must be positioned so that the air intake and air outlet  grills are at least
20 inches away from any wall or obstacle to ensure adequate ventilation.
Condensate can be drained in one of two ways:

A)

ischarge into the tank

Your unit is supplied with a tank, which is positioned on the left side
(Fig. 2) of the unit to accumulate water removed from the air. 
The condensate generated by the dehumidifier can be discharged
directly into the tank. The tank is easy to extract when it needs to be
emptied without spilling. 
Note: make sure the tank is in position and the pump switch is in the 

OFF position.

IMPORANT: The water collected is not drinkable. Please throw it away.

he exclusive Condensation Removal System, allow you to use a hose that extends 16 feet

(4.9 m) in height to drain the water. If you want the water to flow directly to a drain, connect
the condensation discharge tube supplied to the connection pipe located on the lower part
of the unit  (Fig.3-4).  Turn then the pump switch to ON. 

Note: With the condensation discharge hose  missing and the pump switched  ON, a safety

device will make the machine discharge  directly into the tank.

ubber cup 

It is possible to make the condensation discharge tube pass through a hole,  ø 9 mm. in size
(0,35 ins), by utilizing a window frame. At the end of the season, the rubber  cap supplied
can be used to close the hole from the exterior side.
