light is blinking amber A projector fan has failed and the projector
will automatically shut down. Try to clear the
projector mode by pressing and holding the
POWER
button for 10 seconds. Please wait
for about 5 minutes and try to power up again.
If the problem persists, contact Dell™.
The OSD does not appear on
the screen
Try to press the Menu button on the panel for
15 seconds to unlock the OSD. Check the
Menu Lock
on page 57.
The remote control is not
operating smoothly or works
only within a limited range
The battery may be low. Check if the laser
beam transmitted from the remote is too dim.
If so, replace with 2 new AAA batteries.
Cannot use the Pen or cannot
connect the Pen
• Check if the input source is PC (VGA,
HDMI, Wireless and LAN source)
• Check if the Interactive function is turned
On. (Menu -> OTHERS -> Interactive)
• Check if the Connection option is set
correctly. (Menu -> OTHERS -> Interactive
-> Connection)
• When using Wireless or LAN connection,
and the Pen does not work,check if the
Wireless/Network function is turned On.
(Menu -> SET UP -> Wireless / Network
• When using Wireless or LAN connection,
check if Dell Wireless
• Application Software is connected. (Only
support full screen mode output).
• Check if Photo sensor is facing towards the
screen.
• If there are a number of Interactive Pens at
the same time, only one Pen can face the
screen. If there are more than two Pens
facing the screen, the Pen will not work.
• Push any key to wake up (except Nib
button).
