Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
3.
Remove the sled from the enclosure.
4.
Remove the 1.8-inch solid state drive (SSD).
5.
Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready.
Steps
1.
Align the screws on the SSD carrier with the holes on the sled.
2.
Using the Phillips screwdriver, fasten the two captive screws to secure the carrier to the sled.
