To remove the computer cover, perform the following steps:
a.
Using the 1/4-inch nut driver, remove the two screws securing the cover to
the chassis (see step 1 in Figure 1-1).

b.
Slide the cover a half-inch (about a centimeter) or so toward the back of the
computer (step 2 in Figure 1-1), and grasp the top of the cover at both ends.
c.
Carefully lift the cover straight up and away from the chassis (step 3 in
Figure 1-1).

To remove the microprocessors and terminator cards, perform the following
steps:
a.
Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver or your thumbs, loosen the retention screws
and release the retaining clip from the microprocessor cage (see steps 1 and
2 in Figure 1-2).
b.
Using your thumbs, lift the latches on each corner of the microprocessor
assembly or terminator card (see step 3 in Figure 1-2).
