Attach a Ready rail to the right and left sides of the rack at the desired height.
a.
Remove the front and rear parts of the left 4-post rail from the Dell ReadyRails kit and slide the
parts together.
b.
Position the left rail so that the rail end labeled FRONT faces inward.
c.
Align the end of the left rail with holes on the left rack post in the desired U spaces (item 1 in
Figure 11). Install a cage nut (item 2 in Figure 11) in the post at the height of the thumb screw.
Gently press the rail end into the rack post and tighten the thumb screw in the cage nut to
secure the rail to the post.
d.
Align the back end of the left rail (item 3 in Figure 11) until it fully seats in the back post holes
(item 2 in Figure 11).
e.
Repeat Steps (a) through (d) to install the right rail.
f.
To remove or reposition a rail, loosen the thumb screw on each end and unseat the rail from
the rack.
