Hard Drive: Dell Latitude V710/V740 Service Manual

NOTICE: 

Use firm and even pressure to slide the drive into place. If you force 

the hard drive into place using excessive force, you may damage the connector. 

2.  Slide the hard drive into the bay, and press down on the hard drive door until it 

is fully seated. 

3.  Replace and tighten the M2.5 x 5-mm screw in the hard drive door. 

4.  Use the

 CD to install the operating system for your computer.
