This section provides the removal procedure for the PC Card cage.

This procedure assumes that you have removed the system board from the
plastic case. To remove the PC Card cage, follow these steps (see
Figure 4-43):
1.
Remove the 4-mm screw securing the audio bezel.
2. Remove the audio bezel.
3. Remove the four 18-mm screws securing the PC Card cage to the system
board.
Use a support for the system board to prevent the board from flexing when
the card cage screws are removed.
4. Gently pull the card cage off of connector UP9 on the system board. Do
not rock the cage to remove it, because this may damage the connectors.
Replace the PC Card cage if it is damaged.
