CHAPTER 15: GRAPHICS CARD HEAT SINK

Replacing the Graphics Card Heat Sink

Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page

Place the graphics card heat sink in the computer base.

Align the four captive screws on the graphics card heat sink with the screw

holes on the graphics card and tighten the screws in sequential order

(indicated on the graphics card heat sink).

Replace the graphics card fan (see “Replacing the Graphics Card Fan” on

page

2).

Replace the left air-vent (see “Replacing the Air Vents” on page

Replace the center control cover (see “Replacing the Center Control Cover”

on page

Replace the memory module(s) (see “Replacing the Memory Module(s)” on

page 2

Replace the hard drive (see “Replacing the Hard Drive” on page

Replace the compartment door (see “Replacing the Compartment Door” on
