When programmed higher than zero, the remaining steps in the 
memory outside the program range are not accessible, but they 
remain in the memory. To access those steps, ST must be 
programmed back to 0. 
Note: the presence of this parameter depends on machine 
settings. 
 

4.3.10. Stroke 

S 

 
Stroke length: the length of the stroke that is to be cut by a shear. 
It is programmed here as a percentage of the maximum possible 
stroke. 
Note: the presence of this parameter depends on machine 
settings. 
 

4.3.11. Gap 

G 

 
Gap opening: the width (distance) of the opening between the 
shear and the table. To be programmed as an absolute distance, 
in millimeters or inches. 
Note: the presence of this parameter depends on machine 
settings. 
 

4.3.12. 

Programming constants M 

 
Put the cursor on the M parameter and press ENTER to go to the 
programming constants of the control. See chapter 5 for the 
programming constants. 
 

4.3.13. Programming 

key 

 
The programming possibility of the control can be enabled or 
disabled by connecting a (key) switch to the control. If this switch 
is off, it is impossible to change the value of parameters.
