3. OPERATING
MODES
3.1. General
The DAC-310 has three operation modes:
•
Manual mode
•
Automatic mode
•
Semi-automatic mode.
The DAC-310 can be programmed with 100 steps (0 - 99). You
can browse through the steps by pressing the + and - keys.
Manual mode is selected by moving to Step 0.
Automatic mode is selected when a program has been entered
and you move to the first step. Then you press the key for
automatic production.
Semi-automatic mode is simply selected by pressing the key for
semi-automatic.
Both keys (automatic and semi-automatic) also serve as start
buttons for each mode.
When the automatic or semi-automatic key is pressed the DAC-
310 will position the back gauge according to the programmed
parameters in the selected step.
The LED of the corresponding key (either automatic or semi-
automatic) will light up.
When the stop button (O) is pressed the DAC-310 will keep the
back gauge at its actual position. The LED of the stop button will
light up.
In some situations the "stop" is forced by the DAC-310 itself. In
that case the LED of the relevant start button extinguishes and
the LED of the stop button lights up.
In the following paragraphs the three operating modes are
described.
