Operation

Setup 

 
NOTE:  

Any change to a command adjustment typically requires less than 200 ms 

to complete. 
 

1. Make sure the PCX-7500 has been OFF for at least ten minutes when 

connecting or disconnecting the current output connector. 
 

2.  Make sure the laser diode is connected with the correct polarity.  If necessary, 

review the output cable for polarity specifications. 
 

3.  Make the other connections as necessary:  External Trigger, Sync, Rear Enable, 

or the connection to the computer. 
 

4.  Connect the power cable.

Power Up 

 

1.  Turn on the power switch. The instrument powers up in about 3 seconds. 

 

2.  The instrument plays a tune and displays DEI information. 

 

3.  After a few seconds, the PCX-7500 displays the
