• Do not set heated unit on a finished wood table. It is

suggested to place a trivet (not included) under the unit
to prevent possible damage.

• During cooking, do not remove the magnet from the

slow cooker as this can damage the surface of the
magnet.

• The magnet will be extremely hot during use, do not

touch.

• Use caution when placing your stoneware on a ceramic

or smooth glass stovetop, countertop, table or other
surface. Due to the nature of the stoneware, the rough
bottom surface may scratch some surface if caution is
not used. Always place protective padding (not included)
under stoneware before setting on a table or countertop.

• Do not put the glass lid in the oven or microwave. The

lids should never be used on a gas or electric burner.

• Do not use on any gas or electric burners.
• To avoid scalding from escaping steam while removing

the glass lid, carefully lift the lid.

• Extreme caution must be used since the unit contains

hot food, hot oils and liquids.

• To prevent damage or shock hazard, do not cook

directly in the heating base. Cook only in the stoneware
provided.

• During initial use of this appliance, some slight smoke

and/or odor may be detected. This is normal with many
heating appliances and will not recur after a few uses.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

Allow to cool before cleaning.

• To prevent electrical shock do not immerse the cord in

water or other liquid.
