6 Maintenance
6.1
General instructions
Caution
The appliance must be installed and maintained by a certified
professional in accordance with prevailing statutory texts and
codes of practice.
Maintenance operations are important for the following reasons:
To guarantee optimum performance
To extend the life span of the equipment
To provide an installation which offers the customer optimum comfort
over time.
6.2
Standard inspection and maintenance operations
6.2.1
Cleaning the casing
1. Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth and soapy water.
6.2.2
Cleaning the installation's extractor outlets
Clean the extractor outlets at least twice a year:
1. Remove the body from the plate. The plate integrated into the duct
must not be removed.
2. Clean the body of the extraction outlet with soapy water, without
removing the damper.
3. Check the batteries for extractor outlets with a sensor.
4. Refit the body on the plate.
