Cleaning and Storage
Cleaning
•
Press the „POWER“ button (A – Fig. 2) to “0/OFF“ position and unplug the heater from the
electrical outlet and let cool off the fan heater.
•
Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
•
You may clean the outside of the heater with a damp cloth. Do not allow water to come into the
appliance.
•
Clean the air inlet and outlet grilles regularly (with normal use at least twice a year) with a vacuum
cleaner, using the brush attachment.
•
Do not use any abrasive or caustic cleaning agents!
•
Use a damp cloth or brush to clean the housing.
•
Do not use water! Never immerse the appliance in water! Danger to life!
•
If the appliance is not going to be used for some time, it should be protected against excessive
dust and dirt.
Storage
Keep the original box in which the convector was packed to store it during the warmer months
when it is not in use. Clean the heater according to the instructions under Cleaning.
Pack the heater in the original box and store it in a cool, dry place.
HEATER GUARANTEE
De Vielle guarantees that this heater will be free from defects in workmanship and materials
for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Any product found to have defects in
workmanship or material within the period of this guarantee will be replaced free of charge.
The conditions of this guarantee are as follows:
A) The product has been properly maintained.
B) Defects or damage due to normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, or interference are not
included.
C) The product is made available for inspection, together with proof of purchase. NB. This
guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
NOTE:
This product should not be disposed of with household waste Please recycle where
facilities exist Check with your local authority for recycling.
