Overheating Safety Device
–
The product is provided with two safety devices, the safety device disconnects
if the appliance when the heater is tilted or when is tipped by means of a switch situated in the lower
part of the heater. The second safety device disconnects the appliance in cases of overheating by
means of a thermo fuse.

If the heater fails to operate the safety device, switch the heater off again, return the
heater to your nearest service center for examination or repair.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
To maintain the efficiency of the heater, clean regularly.
1. Switch power switches to the OFF position, unplug and allow heater to cool.
2. Wipe surfaces with a soft cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasives as this will scratch the surface.
3. Ensure the intake grills are free from dust, as this will reduce the airflow.
Do not clean the painted parts with emery flour or solvents. Use only a moist cloth.
4. Allow surface to fully dry before using the heater again.
Service Checks
Hints before returning the appliance:

Is your household socket working properly?
–
Are all required switches in the “ON” position?
–
Ensure that the plug is firmly in the socket and switched on.

Ensure the heater if standing on an even surface.
PLUG REPLACEMENT
If the plug is damaged and requires replacement,
follow the wiring instructions supplied with the new plug.
• The green and yellow wire must be connected to the terminal marked with the
letter E or the earth symbol.
• The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter N.
• The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter L.
• A 13 amp plug to BS 1363 must be fitted a 13 Amp fuse to BS 1362.
* For your safety and protection, this unit is earthed through the power cord plug when plugged into a
matching wall socket. If you are not sure whether the wall sockets in your home are properly earthed,
consult a qualified electrician. Do not use plug adaptors or extension cords with this unit.
