5.5 Monthly maintenance
Performing monthly maintenance will ensure the quality of your
beverages and a proper operation of the machine.
For monthly maintenance follow these steps:
1. Open the door (on page 45) of the machine.
2. Clean the mixing system (on page 57).
3. Remove and clean the brewer (on page 65).
4. Clean brewer with cleaning tablet (on page 68).
5. Clean waste bucket (on page 50).
6. Clean the drip tray (on page 55).
7. Clean the cup stand (on page 52) in the door.
8. Clean the waste bin in the base cabinet (on page 53)
9. Deep clean the cold water outlet nozzle — optional (on page
77).
10. Clean the canisters (on page 75).
11. Fill up the ingredient canisters (on page 79).
12. Enter canister ingredient levels — optional (on page 90).
13. Close the door (on page 45).
14. Clean the outside of the machine (on page 91).
15. Clean the touchscreen (on page 92).
16. Check correct functioning by taking a test beverage.
Each step is described in detail in the next sections.
NOTE
Increase the brewer cleaning frequency, if the coffee machine
dispenses a lot of coffee related beverages every day.
