5.6.13 Remove and clean the brewer

For cleaning with water, the brewer must be removed from the
coffee machine. The brewer mounting frame needs to be checked
and cleaned to prevent malfunctioning of the brewer.

WARNING

Do not take the brewer itself apart. Only properly trained
personnel may work on the brewer itself. Instructions for
performing work on the brewer itself is found in the technical
manual.

Perform this procedure:

• At least once a week, increase the frequency if needed.

Perform the following steps:

1. Remove the coffee outlet and hose from the dispense arm and

clean with warm water.

2. Remove the brewer from the coffee machine: place four

fingers in the lower grip (1). With your thumb, push and hold
down the locking grip (2) and pull the brewer from the
mounting frame in the direction of the arrow (3).

CAUTION

Water and ground coffee (residue) may fall out of the
brewer.
