Using   the   Digital  Media   Reader/Writer                                                       

This section shows you how to use your Digital Media HS Reader/Writer to inser t, access, 
format, and remove digital media cards.

Digital Media Card Compatibility 

The Digital Media HS Reader/Writer is available in four different models. Following is card 
compatibility information for each model:

•

Smart Media/xD Card Reader - Compatible with SSFDC Smar t Media cards (3.3 Volt 
only) and xD cards

•

CompactFlash Card Reader - Compatible with all current CompactFlash cards and 
cards in the CF II and CF+Type II formats, such as the IBM Microdrive

 

•

MultiMedia Card/Secure Digital Card Reader - Compatible with most MultiMediaCards 
and Secure Digital formats

•

Memor y Stick Card Reader - Compatible with Memor y Stick and MagicGate Memor y 
Stick media

Note:

 Secure mode of Sony MagicGate is not suppor ted.
