This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not
be carried out by children unless they are
older than 8 years and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach
of children less than 8 years.
The electric kettle becomes very hot during
use. Touch the handle only. Be careful not
to burn yourself on the hot parts of the
kettle or scald yourself on boiling water or
escaping steam.
Never leave the electric kettle unattended
while in operation. Make sure that it is
placed out of the reach of children and that
the cord does not hang over the table or
worktop.
Do not submerge the electric kettle in water
or other liquids. Avoid touching the electric
kettle with damp or wet hands.
The electric kettle may only be used for
heating and boiling water.
Fill the electric kettle with fresh, cold water
only.
The water level in the electric kettle must be
between the MIN and MAX marks when you
switch it on.
Make sure that the lid is in place before
heating the water.
Turn the electric kettle off before lifting it off
the base.
Unplug the electric kettle when it is not in
use.
Avoid spillage on the connector.
Misuse can cause potential injury.
Heating element surface is subject to
residual heat after use.
Only to be used in households.
Do not operate or place any part of this
product on or near any hot surface.
Do not let the power cord hang over the
edge of bench or table or touch any hot
surface.
Class I: Must be plugged into an
earthed socket.
