ALE Submenu
Descriptions
To access ALE functions, enter
ALPHA 17
from the Alpha menu. Navigate
through the ALE menu in one of two ways:
•
Press the desired function number, then press
E
or
•
Use the arrow buttons to scroll through the menu to the function, then
press
E
.
For information on placing an ALE call, refer to Section 3.7 “Placing an ALE
Call” on page 3-22. For detailed ALE operating instructions, refer to the
7000ALE Radio Control Program Operator Manual (7000ALE-MSOP).
(1) SCAN RATE
For selecting the rate at which scanning proceeds. The
arrow buttons toggle between
2
and
5
channels per
second. The number to the left of the scan rate
refers to
option 1 (two seconds per channel) or option 2 (five
seconds per channel).
(2) SCAN GRP
For selecting an ALE scan group (from 0 to 9). This
becomes the specified scan group when using
(3)
TUNE
GRP
and
(9) MOD GRP
.
(3) TUNE GRP
For automatically tuning an ALE scan group (from 0 to
9). This tunes all the channels in the selected scan
group.
(4) Rx SELCT
For selecting a receive type:
•
1
for normal ALE receive/transmit (
Rx/Tx
)
•
2
for receive only (
Rx
ONLY
)
