5 Running a Test
5.1 Overview
Once the required Autosequences have been designed and saved, vPad-RW is ready to run a test on
a radiant warmer. This chapter describes the software used to control the test operation and
assumes that the hardware has been assembled and is in place in the
mattress
of the warmer, as
described in Chapter 2.
The process of creating/editing and selecting an Autosequence for processing has been described in
Chapter 4. Once the equipment information has been input and the OK button pushed, vPad-RW
will proceed to perform each of the individual tests enabled in the Autosequence. The tests will
proceed in the order shown on the Edit Autosequence screens, which have been determined to be
the order which will be least disruptive to the completion of the temperature tests (to minimize
temperature change / loss).
The remainder of this chapter describes the individual tests and the screens that will be encountered
during the performance of the test.
Note:
If the wireless hub is running off the battery and the voltage gets low, an alarm will sound
every five seconds and a warning sign will be placed on the flashing battery icon:
The mains charger must be connected to ensure no loss of data.
