DSK1 and DSK2 Quick Setup
The DSK1 and DSK2 keyers can be used for Linear or Luma keying but cannot be set up for Chroma keying. This is
because only Key1 and Key2 are designed for Chroma key use.
For this example we will be supplying the SE-1200 MU with a background feed on
button 5
. Select a

input using
button 4
on the
Aux Bus row
Step 1:
Choose the Keyer channel that you want to
use. In our example, click the
DSK 1 button
on the
AUX BUSES
panel
.
Step 2:
Choose the type of
Keyer
you want to use.
Step 3:
In our example, click the
Lin button
on the
KEYER CONTROLS
panel.
Note:
If DSK only has one source for key source, press
Self
button
If DSK have two sources for
Fill
source &
Key
source,
press
Split button
.
Step 4:
Click
Split button
(backlit green), select
key
source on AUX BUS Row.
Step 5:
Click
Split button
again (backlit orange),
select
Fill
source on AUX BUS Row.
Step 6:
Turn the keying effect on. Click the
On
button so it is backlit green.
In our example, you will now see the selected
source

, on the
Aux Bus Row
change
so it is
now backlit Red
.
Step 7
: Make some adjustments to the Luma key.
Click the
Keyer button
on the
MENU SELECT
panel
to open the Screen Menu as shown on the left.
