Setting > Firmware Update
Datavideo usually releases new firmware containing new features or reported bug fixes
from time to time. Customers can either download the NVS-25 firmware as they wish or
contact their local dealer or reseller for assistance.
This section outlines the firmware upgrade process which should take
approximately
10 minutes to complete
.
The existing NVS-25 settings should persist through the
firmware upgrade
process, which should not be interrupted once started
as this could result in a non-
responsive unit.
Successful firmware upgrade on NVS-25 requires:
The latest firmware file, which can be obtained from your local Datavideo
dealer or office.
A computer with web browser on the same IP network as the NVS-25.
The current NVS-25 IP address and settings.
1. Log into the NVS-25 server on the computer web browser.
2. Click on
Settings
Tab
and turn
Stream OFF
under
Stream Server Option;
click
on
apply
.
3. Select
Firmware Update
and
Browse
to the latest firmware file.
4. Click on the
Start button
to upgrade the NVS-25 to the latest firmware.
Note
: After firmware upgrade, you may need to re-locate the NVS-25 on the network;
please refer to the section on
How to find NVS-25 on an IP network
for further
instructions. Settings of the unit need to be restored to settings prior to firmware
upgrade.
