Setting the Video Input 

The MP 6000 has four Video Input options; Composite Video, S-Video, Component Video (Y U V) and DV 

(DIGITAL) (IEEE 1394). 

The selected option is displayed in three ways 

LCD Display 

LED Display 

On-Screen Display 

VIDEO = Composite Video 

S-VIDEO = S-VIDEO (Y/C) 

Y U V = COMPONENT 

DIGITAL = DV (IEEE 1394) 

CV = Composite Video 

S = S-Video 

YUV = Component Video 

DV = DV (IEEE 1394) 

CVBS = Composite Video 

SVIDEO = S-Video 

YUV = Component Video 

DV = DV (IEEE 1394) 

We will concentrate on the LCD display   

Press the Input button to toggle through the Video Input Options 

Repeated presses of the Input button will switch from Composite Video, to S-Video, to Y U V (Component 

Video) and finally to DV. 

Once you have selected the correct input, the video signal from your source should appear on the TV 

monitor.
