POWER
This indicator is turned on when the power switch on the rear of the unit
is activated. This indicates that main power to the printer is present.
FAULT
This indicator is activated when there is no ticket detected by the
photoelectric media sensors or a mechanical malfunction has occurred.
The indicator will blink while data is being received from either the
parallel or serial interface.
ON-LINE
This indicator is on when the printer is powered-up and ready to accept
data for print.
The indicator will blink when the printer is paused with tickets left to
print.
Buttons
PAUSE / F1
The PAUSE button allows the operator to temporarily suspend or resume
the printing of tickets.
If the button is pressed while the printer is in the ON-LINE mode, (ON-
LINE indicator on), the printer will suspend printing after the current
ticket is printed. If there are additional tickets to print the ON-LINE
indicator will blink. This puts the printer into an OFF-LINE pending
mode. In this mode the OFF-LINE function, and TEST button are not
active and the printer waits for the operator to resume printing.
Pressing the PAUSE button while in the OFF-LINE or OFF-LINE
pending mode, the printer will turn on the ON-LINE indicator, enter the
ON-LINE mode of operation and resume from where it was suspended.
FEED / F2
The FEED button allows the operator to advance the media to the first
print position of the next ticket
TEST / F3
The TEST button allows the operator to print a test ticket. This button is
active only when the printer in is in OFF-LINE mode of operation.
