The printer can be connected to your host computer with a standard
parallel cable or RS-232 serial cable or USB cable (see the Operator’s
Manual for the required serial cable pin assignments).

Ensure that the voltage rating on the External Power Supply matches
the AC outlet voltage you intend to use.
Connect the Power Plug to the printer before connecting the External
Power Supply to the AC Wall Outlet.
Ensure that the Power On/Off Switch is ‘Off’ when connecting power
and/or interface cables.
Refer to the Operator’s Manual for additional information on printer
connections.
